Reiki Level I & II Certification Classes September 21-22, 2017

This is a quick photograph of the students attending the Reiki I & II Certification classes that I taught on September 21 and 22, 2017. Some were certified this weekend as Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level I, (Shoden) First Degree and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki & Level II, (Okuden) Second Degree Practitioner. The other students had been certified in my previous classes.

Each person’s participation made a significant difference. Collectively, this was a wonderful group to teach. I believe that the world is better with their commitment to compassionate healing service.

I went into Stephen Bruno’s Reiki Master Teacher Class to be re-certified by a different teacher. I had had spiritual and business coaching from Stephen a few years back where I had a good sense of who he was and what he was about. I had taught a class previously with a good foundation but felt like something was missing. I wasn’t sure what. Being a part of Stephen’s two-day class, showed me what was missing. I have re-committed to teaching Reiki as well as being a practitioner. I know I will go forth more confident and with a deeper understanding of what being a Reiki Teacher is. It is serving others and assisting them in connecting with that special part of them that is their reason for being here, it is about enlightenment. Stephen is the embodiment of what it means to be a great teacher. Totally committed to you succeeding in your Reiki practice AS WELL as teaching. Thank you, Stephen. I appreciate your gifts. Most sincerely, Dawn Vierra

Can I take the Reiki Master Teacher class even if I am not sure I ever want to teach?

Yes. It is a very personal process, and many people never decide to teach but take the classes just for personal development. That is fine; the attunement and the lessons learned continue to inform their lives.

I will say from my own experience that I have learned so much about Reiki through teaching. There is that old saying, “If you really want to learn something, teach it!” I have found this to be accurate in my case, as I have had so much more opportunity to observe how Reiki works in students’ lives. It is truly an amazing process, and the more classes I teach, the more excited I become about Reiki.

Certification

Upon completion of this Reiki III Master Teacher class, students are certified as a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher. “Reiki Master Teacher” (RMT) is the highest level for Reiki students.

Reiki for Animals

Prescott, Arizona 2014 © Stephen Bruno

Prescott, Arizona 2014 © Stephen Bruno

Is Reiki for Animals Different from Reiki for Humans?

I work with people and I work with animals to help them improve and maintain their quality of life. Reiki is wonderful for our animal companions because it is gentle, noninvasive and does not require physical contact. It does not cause them stress, pain, discomfort or aggravate their issues. Numerous powerful benefits result from Reiki for animals. Just like with humans, animals easily respond to Reiki’s influence to support their healing of emotional, behavioral, and physical illnesses and injuries.

For animals who are ill, Reiki is a wonderful healing method as well as a safe complement to Western Medicine, Chinese Medicine, homeopathy, and all other forms of natural healing. Animal Reiki can reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and surgery. Reiki accelerated the healing of Quincy, a dachshund in my family, after major back surgery.

Reiki treatment for humans generally includes a series of specific hand positions lightly placed upon different areas of the body to identify and stimulate healing. Unlike humans, animals will frequently place certain parts of their body that need healing against the hands of the Reiki practitioner. You can use Reiki with a light touch on an animal or from several feet away. Some animals may come forward to receive hands-on treatment. A Reiki practitioner can use distant Reiki to help the healing process.

I encourage Reiki in treating our animal companion’s endocrine glands which include the Pineal and Pituitary, Thyroid and Thymus, Adrenals, Pancreas, Gonads and Ovaries. And always, follow your intuition on where to place your hands.
